Few states in the continental United States offer the range of geography and topography that Colorado does. The variety of scenic locations draws millions of annual visitors, most hoping to document their visit in photographs. On Thursday, August 27th at 6pm, Old Firehouse Books will host an event offering tips and tricks to amateur photographers seeking to capture the Colorado landscape on film.
In partnership with Bob and Cindy Maynard and Colorado Plateau Photo Tours, this special event will offer advice on how and when to photograph Colorado’s most beautiful scenes. The Maynards are the creative forces behind A Photographer’s Guide to Colorado’s National Parks and Monuments and will be speaking about their book and offering tips at this free event.
The lecture and slideshow will take place at Old Firehouse Books, 232 Walnut Street in Old Town Fort Collins.
