A delightful retelling of “Pride and Prejudice” set in modern day, and I could not stop laughing. Liz Bennett is thirty-eight, unmarried and living with her parents in her hometown of Cincinnati to help her father recover from a health scare. Her father is uninterested in pretty much everything, her mother is a nosy gossip and utterly devoted to marrying off her daughters to wealthy men, and as for her sisters…where do I begin? Sittenfeld has brought a classic novel into the modern age with grace and laughter! Will highly recommend! ~Teresa Steele
