Review: The Best of Adam Sharp by Graeme Simsion

This book was an emotional roller coaster. I was both rooting for everyone and no one. I loved Adam Sharp and also wanted to whack him over the head with something heavy. This story follows Adam Sharp through past and present as he meets, and later reconnects, with Angelina Brown. After a passionate and probing romance in their twenties, which ends with them in different countries, a simple email from Angelina Brown twenty-two years later has Adam Sharp questioning everything he’s felt and experienced since their first fateful meeting. What follows is an interesting and oftentimes uncomfortable ride as Adam Sharp tries to connect the girl he loved with the woman she’s grown into. With trials and tribulations abound, Graeme Simsion weaves a story of lost love and what happens when that love isn’t quite as lost as you thought.
